Ok on a serious note…I have seen many guppies/guppans complaining about Mods ( they are not fair, they are like this and like that etc etc)..
I am not saying i agree with them but come to think of it many ppl complaining about the same thing does give us a big hint… I wonder 
Oh well i will keep my opnion to myself up until i come across with a mod and notice him/her being unfair with me…That is when i will open my mouth Right now i wil just stay quiet and gona read all this!

It has nothing to do with modship, its a personal issues, one on one kind of stuff. Someone does not like me, when I become a Mod, all he/they does/do is to find keeRaa in everything that I do. Best solution is to ignore those chronic compaliners.

That means that Mod is not performing his/her duties right. Solutions are to coach/help the mod to perform better, put a senior co-mod in his forum who can guide the mod or last solution is that admins request the mod to leave the team. And honestly, we excersise all these solutions based on the situation

That situation is bound to happen as no one is perfect, nor mods neither members. Best Solution is to resolve the issues on case to case basis
TLK i agree with most of your post, as i said before i wont say anything about any Mod right now, simply because i haven’t experienced it myslef yet…i’ll wait for this to happen than i will comment.

You had interactions with a mod if you are forgetting.
when you needed your nick changed. And it was done on a priority basis. A little angel helped you out with that on priority basis.
What kind of experience was that . Then you were opening all threads in Cafe and you got some coaching and help from a little angle. How was that.
And then you needed custom avatar and your request was granted on a priority basis with the help of little angel again.
People used to wait for weeks before they could get their custom avatar.
Those little angels were none but a mod.
So those pleasant experiences are not worth mentioning ?
Firstly, the person who changed my nick, is no longer an admin…
Secondly, i did thanks the mod, whenever they helped me out, i dont see no reason why i should be thanking them here and beside i wasnt bashing mods anyway i was jus giving my opinion…
Thirdly, It is a mod job to help out the newbies/members etc, I am sure you agreed to these policies before becomin a mod…

oh u know what , i being a member had a very similar thoughts.but since when i have been standing in their shoes i feel they were much better at handling situations the ones i hated so much badly back then.
Its not easy to do so much for members and at the end u get to hear is “Mods are some evil freaks”
I have just accepted the fact that its not easy to make people happy,thats all
Firstly .A little angel had to make a personal request to that admin who used to be too busy and it would take few weeks to grant your request.
Secondly At that time you did not even know where to go to get things done. You were sending PM’s to most active CM because you only knew that he is so nice that he will help you out and he will not send you some other way.
That little angel never ever sent you to some other way and took the time and interest to get your requests granted he could easily forward your message to the concerned people and that will relieve him of his responsibility. Heck he could tell you I have nothing to do with it contact so and so and that will be end of it.
Thirdly mods responsibility is to close the thread if the thread is opened in wrong forum. They cannot move the thread into other forums without asking the CM and mods of other forums. Even if they close the thread which does not belong in their thread their job is done. That angel was being nice to guide and coach and mentor you.
