:zor zor sey sar khujaaying: do u mean that she was brave (stupid) enough to pop out of the sunroof of her car when she knew that there was no security close by and her car was surrounded by strangers and that just a night b4 the incident in her interview she was asked what if she did not survive the next day wat would happen to her family, she should have gotten an idea that somin was up but well i dunno wat else was proven.

what is proven is the following:
men were her supporters who got killed. And still are. women are and have been but then unfortunately not all women are able to take to their country's streets as bravely as Benazir did.
as a brave lady, she was and is Muslims' symbol of an educated and powerful woman as a Pakistani and as a Muslim woman.
Even if she was planted and prepared by US govt., or UK,
she was brave enough to do her rallies, out unprotected that pres Musharaff or Navaz Sharif and Imran Khan has not done, being men at that.
if it is a murder done by fundamentalists 'men again', then they are setting the path for not only the same faith that they are fervent about in a very wrong way, but they are also severely negatively implying that Muslim men do not know how to respect women, under the guise of falsely and in fact misrepresenting their faith.
so, whenever any non Muslim will try to describe Islam and Muslim men against women, we as Muslims must dispel their misconceptions about Islam and about the ethos of Muslim women and men. and two, as Muslims, we must also improve behaviors, as ethical people at all levels to redeem ourselves for the sake of living and projecting true Islam as cooperative and ethical muslim men and women.
perhaps, women are a lot more transparent in that sense than men have been and are at least in this sphere of politics, which ironically and historically is dominated by them.

bravery? pardon my ignorance but where was her bravery for the last 10 years while she was in self-imposed exile? also she had good enough security around her and obviously whoever arranged for it was on her payroll. so any lapse in security goes to the person. obviously she would have been well assured that she was secure.
yeah an educated muslim woman who are corrupt and responsible for the murders of many during her terms as PM. i'm sure no one will forget that aswell.
NS, Imran Khan n Mushy are alive to fight for another day. sadly not the case for BB. bravery is one thing, stupidity is another.

Dushwari: You are right that she was a symbol for Muslim world. She was a symbol as an educated, muslim woman who became a leader of the Muslim world. Having said that if you read her biography and stories about her terms, you'll see a truth that you don't wanna associate yourself with.

being brave is a good quality but not more important than intelligence. given the previous attempts on her life... sticking your head out on a motorcade when there is a bullet/bomb proof sitting under you is indeed brave. call musharraf whatever, he was inside his Mercedes everytime bombs exploded around him. He is still around isnt he.

you cant call her that she is not brave ... if you think of it.
yes, there may have been corruption in her time, in the country.
but, if you were to objectively compare all things and realize whose times has been relatively better, hers or her opponents.
it is more about people whose action of having killed her is still not justified.
at a magnitude of her power, she has proven that women don’t hide their intent, under pretence of falsehood, no matter what their reasons are.
their actions highlight their reasons in this case of being fierce and fearless.
it was a test of the sacredness of people and they proved it that they are scared of her to a point that they plotted to kill her.
