Men: Broken Hearts

so, guys, when someone breaks your heart, how do you deal with it? what do you do?

I mean, we girls have a formula. After a heart break, there is usually ice cream and chocolates involved. Usually garfed slowly sitting in front of a tv in the most unappealing pajama sweats. That sort of thing.

What do you men do?

Re: Men: Broken Hearts

Re: Men: Broken Hearts

Men in general go into a solitary mode. They want to be left alone. They need sometime to get out of the misery but they dont want to talk about it or discuss it.

Is that really true, or is it a stereotype?

Sara, there is a method to the madness. Hold on tight, and don't assume things.

Re: Men: Broken Hearts

In my case i am a loner, i was married but it ended in tragedy and as far as i am concerned i must walk on alone........

I have brothers who can carry on the line, like my Great uncle and mentor i doubt i will have any direct succesor. However i am still young, and i will see what life holds.

As for what i did when i was heartbroken. Simple i went off away from those who knew me and spent a year travelling and working in foriegn lands and sending money back home. I found the experience most eye opening and i was particularly happy to be travelling at times through great spaces where there were few people.

I am very much a man of the wilderness i guess.

Word. Plus its good to know that your male friends will bugger off till you call them and say lets get a bite. They know what it means to give space.

No no no! We get ourselves new makeovers, fabulous haircut and color and a new wardrobe.
