Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

The case for Cat-woman and Sadiyah (INNER SOLILOQUY)

Since time immemorial men have exploited women. The ideology of patriarchy and the dogma of male supremacy are so well entrenched in the psyche of modern men, that social scientists have drawn the conclusion that this sexist practice of dehumanization of women as mere “plaything or sex object” will never be completely eradicated.

A “prominent” member of GS has recently been making the case against GS men (not all men, just GS men), claiming that an inherent lack of communication skills are barring these men from meeting worthy women (for frienship?marriage?). The broaching of this issue has been met with a lot of uproar from the male delegates in the form of snide remarks, jibes and personal attacks.

In keeping with tradition, I would like to make an indirect rebuttal to the case brought against men on GS (because i am stuck at home with a sprained ankle).

After having scoured through countless threads rife with utter drivel, I have come to the conclusion that most men are indeed evil. Amid all this evilness, there lies a good side–infinitesimal, yet not inconsequential. The prima facie evidence is in the ADKSG threads about Sadiyah and Catty. On more than several occasions, I have seen guys showing their respect to these two upright and moral women. Thanks to their modesty and reserve, I know chilvary is still alive and well.

We, the men, are of unanimous opinion that the “prominent” member in question is an integral part of GS, as she plays the part of a virtual “plaything” all to well. While she basks innocently in her glory with all the attention she receives, unbeknownst to her, we only sit here amused, playing out the fanstasy of the freedom to call her out in any way we wish.

The more sexual innuendoes she makes about the male genitalia, the more titillated we get. We flock in multitudes with popcorn and coke for a glimpse of this sheer vaudeville. It’s sad, yet amusing, to see the patriarchal ideology making its presence known in this tiny microcosm of GS.

Catty, Sadiyah, Muzna and Mahru and many others (you know who you are). Well done sisters.:k:

^^ PCG
I respect you and your opinions, you have written well in your journals, and to me you are more normal then most of the guppies, because you are not afraid to show your colors,

Well done.

Re: Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

Sadiyah and Catty r kewl. I don’t think i’ve read any negative thing, about the way they look or what they post..

Re: Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

I respect them both becuase they acknowledge and accept opinions of others...and they debate them and do it respectfully...

They dont resort to character assassinations when they disagree with someone...they discuss the point at hand...

They know how to communicate...so regardless of whether i disagree with them or not i respect their views because they present it well and treat others respectfully...

People who treat others with respect will receive respect back...

Okie didn't bother reading all that....I have a headache

Re: Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

^here is the summary for you LK.

This was a social experiment conducted to see how deep the fake bonds of sisterhood run. It runs quite deep.

had i started an appreciation thread for catty and sadiyah, without comparing them PCG, there would been some responses.

it also proves that women are very diplomatic and obsessed with how they appear in public.
womenhood is indeed shrouded in mystery :)

Re: Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

^ umm not really, I just got a bit confused as to where you were headed with this. On the one hand you were praising women and on the other you also took the opportunity to be critical. I thought it was a bit inconsistent that's all. You can't praise one lot at someone elses expense now can you.

Re: Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

I wasn’t praising women - just the the qualities of women that bring out the best in men.

You can’t praise one lot at someone elses expense now can you.

That’s how society does it at large. It only becomes a taboo when you do it with people who are well-acquainted with each other.
e.g, can do it with the neighbor’s daughter, but not the sister, at least not in front of her.

Re: Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

Either way, yes it was rather discomforting, and also because I dont entirely agree with you. This is merely a public forum and therefore making such speculations about peoples characters is disconcerting, and yep, its worse when you do it in public.

Re: Men are evil: the case FOR catty and Sadiyah

We’re taught from childhood to be nice and sweet… remember that lil rhyme? “Sugar and spice and everything nice”… girls aren’t allowd to be mean or get angry or show any aggression or at least socialized to.. So if we’re mean, we do it very subtly (well some expert witches do I suppose :stuck_out_tongue: ).. And yes we’re obsessed with how we appear… we want ppl to have the best opinions of us, and as Pakistanis we have a responsibility to be conscious of our reputations, more so than non-desis, u kno the whole izzat thing… Looks wise, everyone wants to look good, and whats wrong wtih that? :stuck_out_tongue:
