First of all, how are men able to so accurately call a woman’s weight :grumpy:

And why are men so concerned with a woman’s weight - are they concerned about her health or about how good they want her to look standing next to them?

Mine doesn't care how much I weigh :@: As a matter of fact, he makes me eat with him until my tummy feels bloated and I am moaning like a child "I am full..."

My guy likes thicker than average girls so he makes sure i eat and im not trying to lose weight. When i go to the gym he keeps reminding me not to lose any weight otherwise he would feed me till i gain it all back. He knows i love food and cannot resist it if put in front of me

Exactly the same on my end. I'm always saying how I want to lose 10 more pounds and he is determined to assure me I dont need to b/c he hates the idea of me being boney and skinny. His favorite word is..."plumpy". >.<

But all his assurance doesn't stop me from wanting to lose some more weight. Sigh.

mm if a guy can accurately tell a woman's weight, he's probably special. or weird. most men can't tell anything about women correctly, shoe size, makeup shade, hair style, dress size, etc etc etc..

Let’s say you want to lose weight and will feel happier and more confident if you lose weight but your dude likes you just teh way you are and sabotages all your efforts to lose weight (feeds you food, tells u u dont need to lose weight etc).

is he being insecure and sabotaging you or is he being a sweetheart who “loves you for you”? :hmmm:

I told my guy i would feel much better about myself if i lost 10lbs and he forbid me. I told him that im going to lose it before the wedding and he threatened to feed me after shaadi till i gain it all back. I have a perfect upper body and thick legs that im trying to work on but he likes it the way it is. I dont feel like wearing dresses or tights but he fails to see my fat legs.

oh god i don't think anybody, man or woman, should hazard a guess on a woman's weight. it's just so rude.

in terms of my own weight, i'm really hard on myself. i have to be so i can wear the beautiful clothes i love buying for meself.

after i made a comment on an acquaintance's weight one time, she was wearing one of those empire waist line type of shirts worn mostly by pregnant women. the couple was really trying hard to get pregnant and i just blurted out if she was pregnant b/c her tummy was sticking out, ooooh man i felt like kicking myself at that point. obviously she had just gained weight but i'll never ever do that again. live and learn:o

I asked hubby the same question and he said, "you are already less than half my weight, if you lose anymore weight than I will feel too fat :snooty: "

Same with me again! He forbids me to lose weight and says he’ll lose even more. He’s a gym rat and FIT AS HELL so he’d probably drop it faster than I can say “NO!!!” :bummer:
