I can empathise… being the youngest son in a family without daughters I ended up doing the household chores that normally daughters would do
Though I eventually stopped complaining… realised that being labelled as the “household chores person” meant that I could avoid the heavy labour out in the garden
my brother and dad have never helped out mum wen needed. I mean theyv never said no to anything, but they,v never offered help either. But being such a nice mama's boy and being the eldest, I,m always helping her out if the servant is on leave, to the point where basically trying to push each other away to do the dishes. I,d say my younger brother is a true nawabzada wen it comes to lending a helping hand in the kitchen. I,ve never seen my brother or dad in the kitchen helping mum.
My dad and older brother are usually the ones who help me and mom with house chores…my dad even cooks his breakfast himself most of the times coz he goes to work early. But my twin brother doesn’t think he’s made to do these things…he’s a nawabzada of our family Well, I kick him outa kitchen every time he tries to enter anyway!
hey amelie...gotta defend our msa brothers here yaar...

Yaar, I didn't say anything about what the brothers do or don't do..rather the some of the comments i've overheard by the sister's at events. Their old frustrations from home..still color their attitudes there. of course it isn't everyone but i've seen/heard it a few times at several msas...
