i often see in movies that is ki yadasht chali gayii …and same jagah danda lagne se wapis agai…

Sorry I don't understand the urdu/punjabi bits. But yes, my grandfather sadly had Alzheimers disease. His short term memory has become very compromised and he doesn't remember alot. It's very hard to deal with. His long term memory, thank God, so far is still ok so he remembers who we are and older stuff.
Sorry I didn't understand all ur post, maybe went off topic. Memory loss is a terrible thing and a heartbreaking suffering for the whole family :( Hopefully some cure will be found, in the mean time love and a positive attitude does wonders :)

Yes memory can go and can come back. It may disappear with head injury and come back with time or treatment, but does not really come back with another hit by danda or injury!

I also know about oldage one, my dadi's sister has same problem, she can't even recognize any1:-(
