There was a trend with Fatima Surayya Bajiya’s heroines that they got married after their first play.
Many of such actresses never seen again. Like Zeni who played title in Afshan, Afsheen of ‘Ghar ek Nagar’, Musarrat Misbah in Asawri (as mentioned by kamal), Shazia Syed (who played Sassi in Sassi Punhoo and then did a movie against Ajab Gul 'goli tere naam ki :smack: ), the lead actress in Tasweer.
There were some of Bajiya’s heroines who re-appeared after a long time.. Ghazali Kaifi got married after ‘Shama’ and re-appeared in Bajiya’s serial ‘Ana’. In Ana, the lead actress ‘Mehreen Ilahi’ also disappeared after the serial and came back with Quetta TV’s serial ‘Pukaar’ after long time.
Nilofer Abbasi (Shehzori...... Main boht buri aadmi hoon) did few projects besides Shehzori. She was in some Eid long plays like (Happy Eid Mubarak... Fanoon e Latifa, etc) and then did Bajiya's serial Uroosa after long time to disappear again.
Then you haven’t heard of Hafeez Fatima , who did 2-3 serials ‘Mandi’, "Dharas’…
Oh and that actress in Jangloos, who played a village lady who give refuge to laali and had a majj ‘bhoori’ Her name was Samar Tufail. She played bhabhi of ‘Salman Khurshid’ in ‘SeeRhiyan’ also directed by Kazim Pasha. What a phenomenal and natural actress :k:

but I liked the outdoor scenes in it... acting was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than today's rutta actors. They did experiment with such a difficult script at that time. Today's directors are nothing (simply nothing) before directors like Kazim Pasha.
What happend to jangloos... ? I think it was stopped in middle...?
some says there were some scenes showing a train accident which were not liked by Railway Ministry. Some says that they shown a Hindu lady character (played by Shagufta Ejaz.. her first serial probably) who had to convert to Islam forcibly and thats why they banned the serial in between.
Aini Zaidi who is nowadays playing Mikael's mom in 'Muhabbat Subh ka sitara hai' did a serial from Quetta TV 'chhaon' directed by Kazim Pasha. She disappeared after and reappeared in Nusrat Thakur's serial 'Tawaan'. This one is probably her 3rd serial.

yes acting was only plus point, but when read complete novel then realized that drama was absolute pathetic and direction was sadly sooo poor.....
