Memory Clinic

Two elderly couples were enjoying friendly conversation when
one of the men asked the other, “Fred, how was the memory
clinic you went to last month?”

“Outstanding,” Fred replied. “They taught us all the latest
psychological techniques: visualization, association. It was
great.”

“Wow! What was the name of the clinic?”

Fred went blank. He thought and thought, but couldn’t remember.
Then a smile broke across his face and he asked, “What do you
call that flower with the long stem and thorns?”

“You mean a rose?”

“Yes, that’s it!” He turned to his wife, “Rose, what was the
name of that memory clinic?”

Ahmed jee i agree.... thank you for pointing out the effects of visual media on the society today... we have been reduced to brain dead vegtables.. for entertainment we no longer create the soap opera by reading a novel, we no longer visualize the drawing ..or the experiment in our head... but is spoon fed to us through moving pictures or coloured illustrations. consequences of all this on our society in general is open to debate and the possible deteriorating effect on our brains of such policy is open to question.

Don't worry ahmaduu..you're not THAT old...YET!
