i still remember, the day before Eid how everyone use to be so happy and all my sisters and cousins use to put mendhi. and me an my dad and uncles use to go to bazzaar and eat falouda,
now that 14th, august is near and we are so far away, that i cant have the biggest flag on my block. like i use to, or the love that does’nt go away for pakistan, but no one to celebrate it with.
i remember many things, i hope yu can remember some too.

my most favourite memory of pakistan involves playing an intense game of cards under some kind of canopy - in natiya galie - the monsoon torrents outside. Garam garam chai and samosa....a whole lot of family and the most delicious of sensations pertainingto belonging.
you know on march 23rd, when we all use to sit next to the TV and watch the parade.
i always wanted to be a pilot, now i am a little older and still remember those days, when it was all so good.
