If you have lived some part of your life in Pakistan, you must have seen him long before he came to fame in solo performace.
Jupiters is a an old and widely popular band in lahore, which produced two mega stars of country, Ali azmat and Jawad Ahmed.
We used to live in the same house as tenant where jupiters was based. The main office and studio was in basement. Jawad was the lead singer and the other guy Billal (I guess) the lead drumer was very good too.
We used to attend their concerts free of cost. And played cricket with them. Naeem Saeed was the manager, and still is.
Jawad Ahmed had a old heavy bike, Which was self start but practically dhakka start he needed gali ke larkey to make him get going.
He used to say he is younger brother of Imran khan overall nice and sharmila kind of guy.
Last time I saw him in jupiters was about 8 years ago, in khariaan cant. He performed till 4 am in morning and we danced. It was funny he ran out of song after 3 am and started singing jingles like
Ay khudaa merey abbu salaamat rahain…
very few people were left in the hall and it was hilarious

Yup we lived upstairs for about 2 1/2 years but it was after Ali azmat left.. early nineties. I just seen him once or twice that i guess he came to visit. may be i too have seen you there. What you practiced ? Guitar ?
Do you have any contacts with them now. how they are doing.
My face must have changed, first i have to find a picture of that time then i will show you :)
Jupitar is in bad shape right now. I attended one of their concerts in EME college, they couldnt do much. In the middle, for some reason they started playing the happy birthday tune? Nevertheless, they have been there for a while now and produced some excellent musicians.
