Living in a country under Convenant is not a sin. In Islamic countries non believers pay Jizyah Tax and live under Convenant similar to the way you are living wherever you are? I pay more than my share of taxes and keep the countries citizens in employment. Notice the frivolity of your argument: "the majority of the people of the world despise you for the actions and policies of your leaders." You are equating the government with all the people who live in that nation. This is a sign of an underdeveloped mind and exactly what Mr. Bin Laden has done. Unless you were living in a cave (entirely possible given your ideas), you might have seen the millions upon millions of demonstrators who came out in the bitter cold to show their allegiance to the Iraqi people and to decry a possible war against Iraq. These people were Americans and they spoke out against the policies of their government. No, these weren't like the rallies you see in Muslim countries (such as when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, a fellow Muslim country and looted, and thousands of Muslims took to the streets in his support and began naming their children Saddam), crying about some injustice that the world had done to them; there were people congregating from their own free will.
