Does anyone know any treatment for melasma ?

Re: Melasma

TCA peel

sayyma do you have any experience w/ TCA peel? or do you know someone with melasma that did the peel? what was their skin tone initially? fair or wheatish? was it successful?

Re: Melasma

yes my skin tone is fair , first i used 12% TCA peel each time 1 layer . again i used 15% TCA first time single layer after 2 week double layer and again after 2 week triple lyer which gave me really good result , this is my own experience but first go to ur derma ask him to check ur skin type also he will suggest you peel type than start.

Hi Kitty,

I have been trying to fix my melasma for ages.

I talked to my GP about is and she was adamant it was hormonal and she told me it would just get worse and worse. She also refused to give me Hormonal Replacement because I am only 37. I knew I had to do something myself.

I spent alot of time reading melasma forums and 100s of articles from the internet and medical journals.

I started treating my condition and have decreased my pigmentation nearly 75 - 80%. On a good day it is barely noticeable anymore and a bad day on only have to wear a little concealer and I look normal.

I have a natural treatment regimen that does not rely on bleaching cream. Harsh creams can make your condition worse so you must be careful what you buy on the net!!! Read all the reviews you can before you starting paying big money for creams that don't work.

I have a treatment programme. It may not work for you - but it would only cost around $20 to $35 US to get the supplements.

It would take a few hours to help you on this - it would be totally free - however, I would like to know if it works for another person like it worked for me. It would just be advice and I don't want anything for it - but if you see improvement I would like a testimonial which says that I helped you cure your melasma. Please email me on my email rather than discuss on the forum...

Thanks

Promise

Re: Melasma

Melasma and leucoreha or uterus infections are related to each other, when u are stressed you got more secretion and more marks so please first eliminate the root cause TCA peel is not a best option for this ,use a sunblock and consult your derm with your medical history

Re: Melasma

my mother had this very very intensely for a few years, then it just disppeared. I have to be careful in the sun myself as they initially appear as freckles.

gosh.

There are many versions of HQ gels for melasma.. different strengths for diff degree's of pigmentation.

A derm would help u select one best suited for u're skin.

if anything has Kojic acid then that is bad for the skin, most of these products do
