Roman likhnay ka andaaz har insaan ka mukhtalif hota hai kion ke yeh koi orignal language to hai nahi is liye ma'azrat chahta hon !
**i agree with you there there isn't any established trans-literation scheme but there is some basic rules that can apply according to imla. there are sounds in urdu which are similar yet different and there are words that can not be expressed correctly...one perfect example is...sahi [Hindi] and 'saHeeH 'arabic]. if u go to purely urdu she'r_o_shaa'irii sites u'll see a lot of people using similar schemes to make sure they are NOT misunderstood.
you may NOT agree with me but u deleted my thread and i take offense to that. you could have left as such...it wasn't an attack on you.
BTW, i did NOT correct the spellings...i tried to show the correct words because of their variations...for example there are three variations of the word Khaamoshii...Khaamoshii, Khaamshii, Khamoshii...how wud you differentiate between the words and its IMPORTANT to make the identify the differences coz incorrect form of the word wud throw the she out of meter. same way...the CORRECT pronounciation is shahr NOT shahar...if u use shahar then the misr'a will be out of meter. this is Ghalat-ul-awaam. other similar words are qatl NOT qatal, zahr NOT zehar etc...
