Conservative criticism can only help upcoming film makers from making silly yet costly mistakes. If people don’t give their true opinions, how would the films makers and producers ever get a realistic idea about people’s likes and dislikes, demands and expectations?
Just because Pakistani cinemas have been dead for so long doesn’t mean Pakistanis have lost their artistic sensibilities or have no sense of good quality entertainment. Sorry but sugar coating weak and superficial projects is just an act of desperation. It’s hardly beneficial to the whole movement of reviving Pakistani cinema.
Like I said, people will admire talent, good scripts, quality entertainment and story lines whether it comes with a Bollywood, Hollywood or Lollywood tag.
