I’m going to make my own mehndi thaals. I know I can find tons of tea light candles in dollar store but I haven’t seen any mehndi trays or thaals. Where do you get mehndi thaals/trays in the Toronto area? Thanks.

Hey u kno wut u culd do...u culd get a plastic/glass tray or plate n spray paint it gold....my cousin did it once n it looked beautiful n den i did it once at a mehndi n it looked very nice....if i have the pic saved...i'll see if i can upload it here
den u can put rose petals n stuff like dat on it

try the dollar store.. they have gold plates that you can use... I make them myself.

shadi depot in rexdale has nice stuff.
Also if you go to malton or brampton, they sell trays wiht red velvet and beads on them. They are very classy and not too tacky-colourful..ish.
i did make a tray for my cousins mehndi..everything from the dollarstore.i will upload it when i get home, inshallah

Im in the proccess of also making my own thaal trays. I went to the dollar store during christmas time and bought alot of silver and gold tin/ light metal trays, tin plates, glass trays of all shapes that they had and now i am in the proccess of decorating them with flowers and candles. Now that christmas is over, they dont have alot of the same stuff but if you go stores like homesense, or a craft store they still carry sparkly green and gold plates. It might be a little expensive but just buy a few and use other things with them . Im sure you can find them if you go into the sections that carry dishwares. If you like i can post some of my finished thaals once i get them done.

Hey, if u check the section on mehndi deco ideas or the classified links area there is a link to a website called chaand bazaar, i checked that out they had some nice stuff nd they sed they deliver all over the world so im sure they will deliver to toronto, saves you having to make it yourself!

Make your own!! Gather a bunch of your friends and make your own thaalis. Its such a fun DIY project. I love love love making them. Too bad no one I know is getting married. :bummersss:

i don't get it, y ppl pay money for such things when they can do a lot and not to mention, these r the moments u remember ur entire life!!!!
y don't just go to a hall, dance put mehendi n finish!!!!!
i decorated my mehendi stage myself!!!! all the guests were shocked and amazed!!! in fact at first ppl were asking where did u get it made from, who is the decor designer :P
of course it was me :)

i got some gorgeous ones from some trinket shop on gerrard st. i really had to dig around for them, and they were pricey but looked lovely.
