this dress is originally all black with slilver/gold kaam, and my sister got it by Kulsoom in purple.

^ The original design is by Karma and as far as I remember, the ‘original’ colours were yellow, hotpink/red (I’m not sure), blue, and a bit of green. Many, many, mnay…copies have been made.

mehndi clothes

hi

yellow is very boring colour. i am not sure if you are aware about modern colour, such as yellow, green, pink and orange all together? it is my ideal of mendhi colours. is it modern or old fashion?

do anyone have the pictures of modern mendhi clothes. and please do tell me where in lahore i can buy the modern clothes easy rather than search every each shops as they all have plain yellow.

To op ... even the most basic of search on this forum will get you tons of pictures of "modern mehndi clothing" ....
ermm ... btw ... your concept of modern is sooo ubiqitous now that ... ahhh its no longer "modern" ....... you might actually stand out more if you went "non-modern" ... just a thought!

hi guys, since we are on this topic...

typically, mendhi clothes are quite simple. nowadays, does the "simplicity" of the mendhi outfit continue?? My mom just got me my mendhi outfit and I am worried that its toooooooo plain. it has a really nice dupatta (thick border) but the outfit itself is soo BLAH. Won't other people look more dressed up than me? isn't that bad? or is that how it is - that the family members of bride and groom dress up more and the bride is simple at the mendhi?
