You can do pink - yellow and teal. Put the emphasis on the pink with a hint of yellow for the traditional mehndi - and the teal with just pop up the colors.
With pinks use all variations of pink colors.

If you have around 10 days then I can post pictures of something really amazing! My bhabi got the best ever anarkali made it has the most amazing colours in it!!
