Thanks Gina and SGC. I've seen both chunri and bhandni but couldn't find a way to describe the difference. Seems like they are always 'in'...especially for mehndi. Sometimes people get a bunch of chunri/bandhni dupattas for the guests to brighten up the atmosphere. It also looks great in pictures and is a good way to carry a theme without over doing it.

Awee u're welcome =) Chunri is the best in Multan and Bahawalpur! Everyone asks my father to bring sum back! They're so colorful and bright! But u can also get such gorgeous colors made.. purple & pink, turquoise and purples.. beige and maroon!

thanks sara n mk dua, thats really helpful.. actually I also liked Orange one but my mom voted the other dress with multicolor dopatta so got all confused.. but now going for orange dress for sure :D

one can never go wrong with 'chunri' material on the mehndi day-it's so traditional..
I saw a beautiful chunri material pishwaas on a girl and it was yellow, pink, lime green and blue, and she looked so stunning...
