^ yeah, its odd for me too. i had my makeup and hair done and was dressed up and all that too-- i mean, i didn’t pay my photographers so much money to take horrid pictures of me sitting up on stage barefaced, and nor did i spend so much effort on making sure my mehendi decor was nicely done etc to not pay attention to myself! its a function like any other wedding function, and you should be dressed up appropriately. just my two cents, i know people do differently
