would it be considered too much if i wore my mehndi sharara to my friend’s dholki/mehndi thing? i mean, i don’t want to out-do her outfit but i realllly wanna wear it again cuz it was amazing and i can’t really wear a yellow, green sharara to a shadi or valima can i?

You can wear it to a shadi too.
But it's probably okay to wear it to her mehndi. It depends on how close you are and how heavy the outfit is.

Wear it but dont put the dupatta on your head or make yourself up like a dulhan...that might send the wrong signals.
Other then that...do it!
I wore my wedding outfit to a cousin's wedding but toned it down a bit.
