Hey guys! So it’s my family friends wedding and I have got my mehndi outfit. When I saw/tried it in store it seemed nice and simple and not too flashy. However, when I bought it home and tried it on with all my jewellery it looked way too over the top for my liking for a mehndi. I have been to mehndis before and people don’t come that dressed up like I looked with all of it on and I don’t wanna look like I’ve put on everything I could find my hands on.
The mehndi outfit I have is a long anarkali type and it is a peach colour with green on the chest/bust area which has detailed silver gems/sequins etc and has three green piping/borders on the bottom of the dress. It also has 5 diamonds with sparkles and gems on at the bottom just above the green piping at the bottom of the dress and 1 below the bust area.
I will also be wearing a silver tikka/head piece along with some medium silver earrings
Would this outfit look okay along with the jewellery? Do people dress up this much for mehndis? what do girls normally wear for mehndis?
