Hey guys,
I wanted to know if you guys had any unique and creative ideas for applying mehndi during mehndi day. I know I have seen some people use stick to apply it on the leaves so your hands dont get dirty. Any other unique ideas for displaying mithai, I know some people started using fruits or chocolates instead of the typical desi mithai. I know there are already have been threads on this before but those are all quite old now. Any new and fresh ideas.

I like those huge fruit basket things that people do where the fruit is shaped like flowers and whatnot. Maybe you could display mithai like that, provided it doesn't break. How about a chocolate fountain? Lol.

Google sofreh. Persian wedding ceremonies usually have beautifully arranged fruit. You could use those ideas.
if u have access to sticks of misri they look beautiful specially in clusters etc. think of unusual sweets, maybe choclate truffles, or even a heap of patchi chocolates on silver trays look nice.
Get mini cupcakes , use hersheys kisses , they have golden silver wrapping. Lots of stuff can be done.

thanks for the great ideas specially majesty ..the ones you mentioned sound very unique. im not a big fan of mithai hence another reason i was opting for chocolates and fruit.

An over all view:
You can do the ferro rocher of patchi chocolates in heaps:
The cake topper was a ring box with a ring in it, the base was a cushion.
If yo look at the corner a Mehndi Thaal was used to decorate/distribute faovurs in,so you can be creative and have alternative purposes for things.
This is khand decorated sugar cones which are sprinkled over the groom and bride for a sweet/happy marriage
You could do elaborate fruit arrangements. eg: where the watermelon is cut into a basket shape and filled with honey dew and watermelon balls, on even do cocktail fruits on skewers/toothpick. A combination of fruit and chocolate on a skewer -amazing. Now i’m off to hunt some chocolate.
