I am not a heavy make upper, don’t do a lot. I look good without make up and even when I do, normally add a mascara, eyeliner (water line) and shine gloss sometimes but normally rose Vaseline works for me.
Recently I have started buying cosmetics and getting in habit of using. It. Had my dholki recently, put make up on like green/gold shades with eye liner both inside n upper lid. With little blush n shiny natural lip gloss. Looking back at pics I don’t think it looks that good but ppl says it does.
I personally like the nude tones for mehndi and a fair lipstick or matt gloss on the lips....it makes ur pictures come out really good and also look really natural :)
yeah i think you should stick to a clean and neutral look.. avoid bold and bright colours on the eyes. mehndi outfits tend to be the brightest outfit we wear on all days so the makeup shouldn’t compete with that. i’ve seen pics of brides matching their eyeshadow to the colour of the outfit.. like bright yellow and sky blue please dont do that!

natural makeup doesn’t necessarily mean “light” makeup.. if you’re makeup is very light, it may look nice in person, but in the pictures, not so much. so you may have to line your eyes with a thicker line than usual, apply more blush, lipstick etc.
I didn't do nude but I did go light - so I didn't have heavy duty eye makeup.
I put foundation, blush, green eyeliner, and bright pink lips - sounds nasty but turned out really nice!
