Hi i am getting married in July next year in Pakistan i want my mehndi to be quite different…anyone got any ideas?
also has anyone seen the big pots/tubs in which floating candles can be placed and where can i get them from??..they show them in movies people often use them for divali…

yeah it will be very hot in July does any1 know if you can get air conditioning in a marquee. Also can you get the large pots from Pakistan?

yeh you can get air condining units for a marquee, and also there are lots of things to choose from in terms of mehndi plates, diyas, etc. Or so iv been told.
I dont know about the floating candles tho but u cud take them with u, and Im sure theyl hav some nice pots or bowls.

if in lahore,go to Time and Taste caterers in hussein chowk gulberg..they will show you videos from different events they have arranged and you can choose your stuff..and they arrange airconditioners in marques..their decorator Harmain is the best one

if u get a wedding planner to arrange all the things u really dun hafto worry abt ideas as they would have plenty of em :)

u can find floating candles anywhere in pkspecially all arts shops n home decorations (HKB), & book stores (variety book shop) etc, u can buy those pots from nursury asthey have it for planting ,paint it & decorate it. i had the same question before few months but now after coming to pk i can say YES they r available in pk

When they bring you make them turn the lights off and have only candles all around it looks awesome!

I'm not a very weddingy person recently my best frind got married and I kinda had to be there no matter what!! She did this really amazing thing on her mehndi... when we took her mehndi and put it on the ground we made a circle around her mehndi and did a real desi luddi on sean paul's temperature!! It was pretty cool!
