I have previously seen a thread with many examples but didn’t save photo’s. I cannot find the thread now and have searched the net too but have not found what I am looking for.
Does anyone have any links to the thread or could you please post any pictures you have of mehndi jewellery?
Why don't you try the asian shops on Green Street, Southall, Birmingham or Bradford? **Lister Park Florist **in Bradford make gajras, flower haars and lots of flower things for weddings.

You ask guppan, silsila. She is a wedding planner in UK and had an amazing wedding herself. :) Artificial gajras can be found at shops that carry worship items for Hindus. You can also specify the flowers/colours and ask a florist to make you some Hawaiian Leis. I think they can easily be used at a mehndi.
Thank you so much mahismart! I have lots of photo's to show them now.
The problem is we live very far from these main cities, and we would prefer to have fresh flower gajreh rather than artificial. So they will probably get fresh flowers from a florist or flower market... Also one of my nand had experience of making her own beaded jewellery so hopefully the same concept should apply!
thank you once again.. So many photos to choose from! xx
Maybe I’m mixing my old wives tales, but I thought I had heard something about stepping on/putting your feet on flowers - doing so is disrespectful and jaisey phoolon ki bay-adabi hoti hai Ring any bells for anyone?
