I need some help finding a song to walk into at my Mehndi.

I know there have been many posts about entrance songs but some of them have gotten so off topic and are all about wedding songs that I wanted to start with a fresh thread..only devoted to Mehndi Songs! :slight_smile:

How about Mehndi Rachegi tere haath from Hadika? I also like Jaana hai tujko piya ke angna...but plz cut out the Thai thay part lol...also if you wanna go retro "palki mai hokay savar" from Khalnayak....
what else is there...theres old songs like ati hai tho chal...I also like genda phool from Delhi six..they have nice remixes of that.

I love ghenda pool! Do you really think it could work for an entrance song?? I was hoping for something a little new! Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali is so over done and my cousins are already dancing to it. ...sigh I'm so lost! I dont think ghenda pool would work as an entrance. Do you guys know of any Dhol Artist whose track I could use? So it would be a track of a dhol playing. I looked into getting a Dhol person in Toronto, but its so expensive!

You can find different dhol beats on Youtube. This song is pretty recent

start at around 33 seconds though…

other beats

u can also do sukhbir aaj mundaiyan they kuriyan di akh largiaye or something and have people dance out and then you come into a song thats more toned down..ive seen a lot of people do this…hope this helps

tenu leke sounds fab! but my fiance is dancing for me on that song on our mehndi with his friends :D..so i dont want him to walk out on the same song but an up beat dhol would be good too.

I went to this mehndi where the guys rocked Dil main baji guitar...it was hilarious and the groom was really funny so it totally worked...even the bride was laughing...it was totally adorable....

Peer Manavan is a nice song for a mehndi but have you seen it as a entrance song? I'm feeling a little in different about it for an entrance.

But I love the suggestions ladies, this is helping me build my library for Mehndi songs since we won't be having a DJ and using my good old iPod and I am not really in tune with all the latest bollywood stuff. Keep the up-beat mehndi songs coming! :) :) :)
