Yup, Bint-e-Naeem, exactly like thsese. See, the mehndi on the forearms is a bit lighter than that on the palms and that is thing that I don't like. Personally, the same thing happens to me that only the palms have the darkest shade and the arm band that I had just faded away :(.
wow thatsss sooo beautifulll and sooo detailed!!! i cant wait for eid!!! im gonna go all outt with mehendi i love it so much!!! and the smell is sooo good also!
Any idea who did this dezire? Looks costly and 100% beautiful. I would love to look at this person’s bridal designs.
This is the same hand but the back side. This was 4 days later after I put the mehndi on so its already started to fade by the fingers. I guess it has something to do with our blood circulation. What I have noticed is that the color does come out dark but it takes its time. In my case even an arm band comes dark but it takes thrice the time to show the right color. For eg. my palms get the right color after 36-48 hrs. The rest of the body takes more than 48 hrs. In fact whatever the occasion is I always put mehndi 2 days b4 rather than 1 day. Palms for some reason start getting dark right away. Other parts of the body take their time.
Did u notice yr arm’s band color after 2 days maybe? Was is still light?

Re: mehndi designs
I cant find the picture on the link, but i think I know what you're talking about. Well frmo what I've seen, you put the norma mehndi on and then when it dries and you take it off, you apply the glittery stuff. It's actually like this clear gel with glitter in a cone. I was gonna get it done for my cousin's wedding but the lady said that like if you wash your hands it comes off.
i think u r talking about this one …
this is the one in the video u mention
lahorikuri is right. it comes in kon. first u have to put regular mehndi and if u wana put glitter then put it just few minutes before the function and dont wash the hands.
PS: once i used the one which is used for drawing. it comes in tubes ![]()
Re: mehndi designs

sheal...sounds like u had fun :D
Re: mehndi designs
does any one know how people get the mehndi outline to be really dark, almost black. They then fill the inside with mehndi and wash is it quickly so its light orange, looks really pretty but i dont know about the outline, or what they use?
Re: mehndi designs
wow shealo..the designs in the video r beautiful!
Re: mehndi designs
i notice in lots of pictures ppl use towels etc as protective cover while getting designs done.
i'd say use clear plastic. serves it purpose and picture bhi achi lagti hei!
The arabs use a cone that's called "arq" for the outline and regular henna for the "filling"
