depends on ur own will or family style ect its not important n personally i dislike it bcuz mehndi should b celebrated b4 shadi to have dat typicall n originall charm dat a couple has b4 their reall day.but if some ppl wish they can there is no objection.my cousion celebrated it just to show off a big party otherwise there seem nothing behind b4 engagement mehndi...rite?

i have seen many of my friends did that i mean celeberate their mehndi day before engagement day and they told me its a NEW TREND in pk it was kinda new thing for me too ...

*Mehndi before engagement hmm havent heard of it but a lot of people celebrate their mehndi after the nikkah though. but all this doesn't matter since this is not part of the religion, its our culture..so you can shift events if you want to. *

aj kal trend hia Dholki ka.. not mehndi.. usually friends wagera mil kar dholki arrange kar lete hian before engagement just to have fun.. its not mehndi.. just dholki.. han aj kal pak mai kaffe trend chal para hia.. par it depends how big or small the arrangement is.. usually sirf friends n cousins mil ke dholki baja lete hia.

Before nikkah/shaadi yes..but mangani..i haven,t heard of it..but i know people do have dholki..sometimes.
