yeah I went simple for mayoun and mehndi too - I am not really into the latest Pakistani trend of over the top mehndi dresses and makeup. it really depends on what you want and what will look good on you. For mayoun, I used my mom’s old mehndi dress & updated it slightly (straight kameez & churi dar). For mehndi, traditional pishwaaz wih kaam on neck / front with churi dar - green-pink color combo. I just liked churi dar so most of my dresses (for my wedding) were with it.

What’s a pishwaas? Yeah the new trend isn’t my style either–I want something more on the traditional side. I debated churidaar but I think I’m going to do that with my nikkah outfit.
