She sang this song for Umrao Jan Ada (the drama). I think she’s got one of the most prettiest voices I’ve ever heard. And I don’t think she ever got the fame she deserves.

Anyone know who this Qurutul-Ain is that sang the Loori in Umrao Jan Ada…never heard of her. Her voice is magnificent as well.
Thats sadly true for most of our artistes - they never really get to the kind of level of fame and popularity that they deserve.

The lady who sung the lori has an amazingly soothing and melodious voice. It's as good as lata's. Almost sounds like her too.
