If you want proper thaals, there’s a few party shops on Green Street that do them, they’re usually the colourful plates with mirrors on them. Otherwise look in those shops that sell ‘houseware’ type of stuff, they usually do them. Can’t think of any names, but there’s one of those kinds of shops near the station end where all the shops are.
Sometimes the jewellery/accessory shops have this kinds of stuff, they’re worth a look. My sisters and I found some metallic plates in the pound shops, but they can be a bit hit and miss sometimes. There’s also a shop on Ilford Lane called Chopras will sell loads of different types of plates, also another shop called ‘Party Paradise’ in Manor Park, near Green Street (it’s on Romford Road) which have a lot of wedding stuff and can be useful, dunno if that’s a bit out of the way for you though.
If you really can’t find any in Green Street, make sure you ask the people in the shop, even if they don’t sell any, they might be able to point some out!
