I know that many people put on mehendi on the hair to make them soft, give colour to their hair as well.

I am thinking of trying it; my hair are dark brown so would it make them a little lighter shade?

I put mehendi on my hair once in a while, it’s a great conditioner and gives a wonderful, soft texture to my hair.
I have dark brown hair too, and I’ve found that mehendi gives a reddish tinge to my hair. When I’m standing in the sun, my hair looks reddish brown, but definitely not ligther. I love the warmth it adds to my hair.
