I dont think I’ve seen anyone wearing lengha cholis at the mehndis I’ve been to. Partly because a lot of the girls I know would get a thappar from their mums for showing their stomachs, but also becuase a lot of them tend to wear more western labels at mehndis, so its mainly maxi dresses or short kameezes. if it’s a big event then you probably can get away with it.

LOL Mad Hatter, if I were to expose my stomach my mother would slap me as well. When I said lehenga choli, I was talking about a top that covered the stomach, not way too long but not stomach exposing either, just enough to cover. Similar to Mahira in the balley balley song but still a bit longer so that the little bit of stomach showing in that song doesn’t show either lol.
