What is the latest trend these days in Pak? Shalwar kameez, chooridar, shararas or what?? I am noticing people are going from simple shalwar kameezes to lehangas, organza outfits with full makeup and what not. I thought the bride was supposed to be “simple” on the mehandi day inorder to look really different the next day with the thopafication??? Is taht trend changing in Pak or is it just with the people i have seen?

Ira its going to be pure green silk with hand embroidered kashmiri work. and no its not going to be shalwar kameez style. For my henna I'm going to dress like a Yemeni bride, I'm going to wear heavy silver jewelry from Yemen, with a green dress. Its funny because the heavy silver jewerly I've seen even on kashmiri women so this works out great :)
Rukhsar i was also thinking along the lines of a chooridar, since i think it looks traditional. will decide once i goto pak InshaAllah and see whats in i guess. What are you thinking abt wearing?

Once i even had a thought of chata pati ka gharara/lehanga. They were really popular once upon a time.
