According to the NAB officials, dates for filing and its verification of complain against Sharif bothers are not available. The report said that direct investigation was initiated against the two brothers, after a source passed some information in this regard.
In the case against Nawaz Sharif pertaining to illegal recruitment in the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA), Maj Gen M.H. Ansari is the complainant. The complaint was filed on March 22, 1999 and direct investigation was started in the case without an enquiry.Also read: Report on corruption
Similarly, a case was filed against former president Asif Ali Zardari against the report of a source but NAB has no details regarding to the dates of filing complaint, enquiry and investigation in the case.
Why am I not surprised that the only cases about which NAB has expressed reservations are about the partners in crime…Sharif Family and Zardari family.
