I popped into the local Chinese place and who do you think I bumped into, from the opposite ends of the earth?
None other than former neighbours star turned flimsily dressed pop sensation, Kylie Mynogue.
“Wotcha Xtreymoww,!” she said in her broad Aussie accent. “ow’s yer didgeridoo 'angin?”
“errr…ok I think” I replied uncertainly.
“tell yer whot..” piped the pint-sized songstress, “let’s chomp down the ol’ chaaow meiyn, ‘n head for the bar fer a good ol’ Aussie sing-song, wotcha reckon on that then Xtreymowww?”
“You should be so lucky-lucky-lucky” I said. “I’ve just seen Anchal’s latest pic so you’ve just moved down a place in the Aussie bombshell charts. By the way, you’ve got some crispy seawood stuck between your teeth”
“Awww strewwth!” she said roling her eyes in a resigned manner.
I don't understand...which part is it you people don't believe? That we were in a Chinese takeaway? Well, I admit I don't go for it that much but Kylie must really love it judging by the bits of food stuck in her teeth.
She looks smaller in real life though, but still quite nice.
You won't believe me but I really stopped people taking her foto with me. Yes, I was in Madam Tussaud. I preferred to stand beside Ms. Bhutto who after all has more grace than her.

Ali yaar, there's no guys or gals on the menu - at least not on the local Chinese place...but you know what these Thailanders are like - that could change in the near future. I'll keep you informed.
