I live abroad and going to Lahore for a short business trip. I am getting married this October and saw my fiance on the day of engagement (8 months back) but couldn’t get the chance to talk to her for a long. I just wanna take her for a Lunch / Dinner would apprecitate your recommendation for a nice retaurant / hotel with privacy and family atmosphere.
awwwwwww thats sooo sweet. I'm not from lahore though ive been to a few restaurants. The one that I really loved was Cucoo's Cafe/Den. A lot of people don't consider it a family restaurant because it's right next to the red light district and has paintings of prostitutes inside (painted by the owner himself whose mother I believe worked in the red light district). But the restaurant is on the rooftop, it's very romantic and the food is OMG delicious. I see nothing wrong with the restaurant, have been there a few times and each time it is amazing!
If you are into Chinese food I really like this place called Hsin Kuan at the backside of Empire Center,Main Boulevard Gulberg..Nice ambiance and great chinese food, definitely recommended.
If you are looking for something a bit more casual you can check out the cafes at MM Alam. Just don't take her to PC/Avari etc..it's your choice but I find such places for a date to be really unromantic.
ok i know i am like abt 2 months late but i just think both cucoo's and Hsin kuan are just not the right places. For someone who lives in lahore Cucoo's isnt that big a deal.. its great for people who are visiting though.
And Hsin Kuan has great food but its really casual now. a little too family family and veryyy noisy.
There's Tiramisu in gulberg. i think it has the great food and perfect ambience ur looking for. or try out others on mm alam.
Aylanto is nice if you pick a nice secluded seating spot, and cosa nostra, the original restaurant not the pizzeria, with their 7 course menu chosen by the chef themselves is great too.
