Meeting someone online

Re: Meeting someone online

With the holidays coming, I guess people are in need of gift cards, Mr. “works for Shell as a contractor/supervisor for most oil companies in the world” asked me if I could buy him an iTunes gift card because his bank declined the transaction:smack::smack:

Why would he need me of all people, a lowly IT tech, to buy him an iTunes gift card…lol. It was fun to see how far he would take this before it all blew up in his face. Great training in the IT security field. Why would his bank decline the transaction with the amount of money he says he was making. Honestly, by being skeptical I thought I was self sabotaging myself but it helped talking to you all about it, just to keep myself practical.hugz

Re: Meeting someone online

ahw hell naw girl. dont buy him anything. dude sounds shady af.

Re: Meeting someone online

Maybe he was testing you. Trying to see if you weren’t like the other girls and get something for him?You failed the test.

Re: Meeting someone online

So other girls would’ve bought a guy a darn gift card that he can’t afford because his bank declined the transaction. …someone that was supposed to be a successful person.

After I mentioned a couple times about meeting in person, he brought up the favor of buying him the gift card. I haven’t even met this guy in person.

The only people I trust are my family and my best friend.

Lol…he’s a con man why would anyone do that knowing they’re being conned.

Re: Meeting someone online

No need to tell you not to be his sugar mama, you already got it figured out! Hope you do find the man you’re destined to be with.

Re: Meeting someone online

Wouldn’t be a sugar mama because I’m younger than him or the age he showed himself to be. I’m actually feeling relief because my gut feeling ended up being right. Thank you PunjaBee. hugs
