I am surprised that no one seemed to be interested to discuss such a great blunder of the very root of the Internet in Pakistan. I think you probably are missunderstanding the impact it could have brought to the Internet life of Pakistan.

Even a small change in the DNS could have rendered most of the famous sites of Pakistan like Jang.com.pk out of reach let alone the impacts of changing the ownership email and authorization codes to challenge the ownership.

Think we are too busy in discussing Musharaf and other political leaders that we really dont have time to take and discuss Internet as an "Industry".

I can only find the change in Technical Contact. Its just same as out sourcing the technical part of domain. I don't see any biggy in it.

Namaan, they do not have separate panels to change everything. This bug actually let one login to the account. and once you are inside the account you can actually do anything there.
