Man turtles are the best. Just yesterday there was this hour long documentaty on turtles on the discovery channel. On land turtles might be slow but underwater theyre speed demons because weight no longer becomes a factor.
Cheegum: Yes the turtles are very fast underwater but slow on land..and i like the factor it sucks in all his body parts when in danger and becomes a shell :D ..... i use to have fishes before, but they got booring to look at especialy since they cannot come on land like turtles do.

^ yes they can be on land...thas why u have a filteration system and and special water cleaner liquid for turtles.....it keeps the water clean. Like when i had fishes id change the water once every 2-3 months...but for a turtle, since the tank is not big and easy to handle; personaly i clean the water every few weeks.
