ok here is the explanation.
lacoste the brand has a crocodile's pic as its logo..so when meera saw a crocodile she thought its called lacoste since she saw "lacoste written under crocodiles pic" (the whole logo)...she didnot know that its actually called crocodile, lacsote is just brands name.
