Medicinal Vegetables

Please add on, but here are my personal favorites:

Karela (Bitter melon): excellent for sugar control
Bhindi (Okra): excellent source of vitamins
Lauki (Opo Squash): great for stomach and digestion
Palak (Spinach): Great source of iron

All these can be eaten alone or cooked with meat.

I'm going to say Carrots.

In science we are currently learning about Light and Dark, and one of my little darlings claimed that carrots help you see in the dark.

So yeh, Carrots: great for seeing in the dark!

In general, almost all vegetable, if not all, are packed with nutrients as well as fiber.

Even vegetable that are rich in carbohydrates are good for you if you cook them wisely.
