Re: Media Coverage to PTI’s jalsas
Overseas Pakistanis are neither foolish, nor do they suffer from lack of information. Thanks to satellite TV, families back home, and our own frequent trips back home, we are as well aware, if not better, of the situation in our nation, than our Pak dwelling friends.
Imran Khan is very specific in each of his fund raising tours. He clearly specifies whether he is soliciting funds for Shaukat Khanum, flood affectees, or PTI. This clarity helps donors make informed and calculated decisions, and gives them extra confidence. All of the donated money is audited by third party auditors. There is not a single party in Pakistan other than PTI that does that, and I doubt there ever will be. Imagine PPP ever getting audited. Every single penny will be traced to Benazir and Zardari’s accounts and properties
PTIs media coverage has definitely gone down recently, but Im sure it will pick up once the Quetta jalsa takes place. Its surprising to see Wasi Shah, who is primarily a PTV employee, go against his employers and write such an op-ed.
