Media is one of those many powerful weapons which can be used in favour of Islam or against it. Sometime media representative present only those broadcast which they want us to believe. The anti-Islamist Media in front of us pass their coded messages in shape of movies, dramas, cartoons yet we are unable to understand.
Example:
I was watching a movie “Flightplan” where a mother board on a plan alongwith her 6 years old daughter and with dead body of his husband. She fell asleep and when wake-up her daughter is missing. Crew members including captain of plane re-check boarding passes and search whole plane ups and down but couldn’t find that missing girl nor she were registered in system (while obtaining boarding-pass). Mother create panic and come infront of a passenger (bearded-man, playing role of muslim, an arab) asking him where is her daughter?. Those passenger were called as terrorist not only by mother but also by other passengers too. At the end the mother found her daughter and the enemy were actually one of them (non-muslim).
What I observed by watchig this movie is that:
1- Can’t you (muslim) see how swiftly and easily we can label you (muslim) as ‘terrorist/plan hijacker’ and other passenger due to current situation, believed that you (muslim) are real terrorist but right next we cleared you being a terrorist/plan hijacker’. We shown the audience what exactly we want them to believe in favour of us.
2- Or passing a coded messages to their co-followers that this is how, we’ll plan to hijack the plane and put the blame on any muslim passenger.
3- Or be with us (in favour of them). If we can put you in this trouble than surely we can put you out throw it.
4- Lastely, they already earned profit with this movie.
I think the movie implied that how wrong we are to jump to conclusion that every Arab is a terrorist. I think even in "THE SIEGE' the y implied that.
Plus you have to realize that Hollywood movie makers need an enemy for the movie to be hit. It used to be Russians, then Germans, then Muslims (Arabs) and now Aliens.

This. And i have to admit dat media is biased about Muslims in general. Unfortunately ppl who are maligning Muslims based on their religious belief and ethnicity are enemy to themselves. Reason i am saying dey are enemy to themselves is because they are stupid enough to generalize human beings.
the western media with hollywood, cable tv channels etc is big industry backed by the state, they currently at war with muslims and islam so it no surprise they call us every name and insult in the book.
For the muslims to have a voice and fair platform they need a strong media backed by a state ideally an islamic state which will support islamic ideas and defend muslims and islam. Such a media would ensure its ideas can be given airtime especially into the muslim houses 24/7 instead of hollywood and western propoganda.

This is exactly what they want us to believe that they were wrong when they jumped to this conclusion. Moreover this is how they divert the attentions of others towards that country i.e. religion that how muslims are enemies of them.
