Re: Meat not washed properly
get the stuff done at your butchers.. tell them to remove any silverskin/membrane/whatever you don't want. your kitchen isn't capable of preventing cross contamination unless you are uber-careful.

Re: Meat not washed properly
queer has gone cuckoo. Just notice how the meat looks before and after you wash it. There is a zameen aasmaan kaa farq. I would NEVER cook chicken especially, without giving it a nice rinse.
I agree with queer, its not recommened to wash meat, it makes the meat waterly or something .. I have never seen chefs on TV wash their meat ...
like we get fresh whole chickens and my husbands makes pieces of it and i put them in a bag without washing it and freeze it, when I have time I thaw it in water when I dont it lands in the pot without washing and it still tastes good.
so making pieces does not spread germs? they are made using a knife and some sort of cutting board i assume, which then gets washed somewhere.
Re: Meat not washed properly
Do you all not have seperate dishes and utensils for meat vs other stuff?
I have one strainer thats for meat and chicken (and one for pasta/veggies etc).
One side of the cutting board is for meat and chicken.
The only meat i ever cut is boneless chicken breast, so a normal knife (that i wash after using) is all i use.
Its another thing that I clean my sink maye once in a while ![]()

It's just meat, not rat poison. Why the need to be SO careful?

I never said that I believed in the (queer's) germ theory of speading germ in the kitchen .. I said it makes the meat waterly and soggy when cooking... try washing it and putting it in garam oil pan.. firstly it will stick right away and u will definitly not get nice juicy botis if you would do it without washing it.
We have this wodden cutting board and a knife for meat .. which I clean with hot water after we are done. Whatever we will do germs will allways be there, I am not over conscious about it.
oh I dont have liver pieces on my chicken, just kidney which we can eat anyway.
No I would rather not wash my chicken, only if I have to thaw it, then I do it as its waterly anyway.
We have this wodden cutting board and a knife for meat ..
Cutting meat on wood is a big NO NO. Wood absorbs moisture more than anything else. try using a ceramic or glass board for cutting meats.
