Ishaq Qatil se bhi,Maqtool se hamdardi bhi
Yeh bata kis se Muhabat ki Jaza mangey ga?
Sajda Khaliq ko bhi,iblees se yarana bhi
Hashar mein kis se Aqeedat ka Sila mangey ga??

what does this mean please tell me .. explain the deep meaning behind these words ..

qatil aur maqtool/khuda aur iblees donon mutazad hain,ya khuda k batlaay rasty pr chalo ya us k mukhalif iblees k mrasty pr,donon ko aik sath razi rakhna namumkin hai.

What the poet is trying to say is that you cant have it both ways. Decide which way you want to go and stick to it.

This is religious type of poem... In Quran it is said that enter in your Deen completely. You are not allowed to accept one order and disobey other. Thats what is said by Iqbal in this poem
