Re: meaning of

Re: meaning of

You've never heard this before ??

Re: meaning of

Its difficult to determine actual word just by reading the roman pronunciation of it.

Re: meaning of

Tum bohat badeed ho na kissy me deed rakhtey ho na mureed

I tried

Re: meaning of

i think it's a compound word, bay-deed...

be= without
deed = deedaar = mulaaqaat, salaam_du'aa

bay-deed then would mean "naa_yaab, hard to find, the one who meets up rarely with friends"...etc.

DhoonDhoge agar mulkoN mulkoN
milne ke nahiiN, naayaab haiN ham! :p

Re: meaning of

It should be be-deeda in this context, though the world is not commonly used and may be grammatically incorrect.

Re: meaning of

her sentence doesn't make much sense...

be-deed = naa-deedah [in most cases]

urdu rasm-ul-Khat meN agar Philosophy likh deN to mo'amma Hal ho jaaye! :D

Re: meaning of

May be she heard that in a Pakistani drama. aajkal Pakistani dramon ki Urdu ka Allah hi hafiz hai.

PS: what is the difference between na-deedah and nadeeda :p

Re: meaning of

Yes itdoes make ssense you’re not the only urdudaan of the world :mad:

Re: meaning of

naa = NOT
deedah = seen

naa-deedah = unseen

nadeeda = laalchii / HareeS

Re: meaning of

:hehe: Urdu Pundit

Re: meaning of

nadeeda is one jis ne kabhi kuch na dekha ho

Re: meaning of

its bey-deed......which roughly translates into one who doesn't give a shiit aka utterly selfish/self centred......be-lehaaz.

Re: meaning of

This makes sense

Re: meaning of

matlab vo shaKhs jis ne kuchh na dekhaa ho ya'nii jiskaa koii tajurbaa e zindagii na ho...ya'nii shaKhs-e-naa-deedah na beh az johalaa!

Re: meaning of

matlab jis ne khane peene ki cheez na dekhi ho (normally nadeeda is used in that sense)

if you mean the word pronounced “bay-deed”, that means “bay lehaaz” or “be addab”/ batameez.

:hmmm:

Re: meaning of
