Ji mujhe Khana Badosh aur Gypsy ka ilm tha. Mustansar Hussain Tarar ka safarnama ‘Khana Badosh’ aur unhi ka novel ‘Gypsy’ mere pasandeeda kitabon main se hain.
In Sindh ppl of Thar still lives like gypsies wandering around due to scarcity of water. Back in 80’s PTV produced a drama ‘Karawan’ based on a Thari girl ‘Sukhan’ who migrated from Thar and became famous singer but couldn’t adjust in urban life as these ppl have strong connection and longing for their land and style of living.
