Re: Meaning of “Proudy”?
There’s a laxity in language and you’ll see this even in the usage of English in other cultures. I’ve heard the word, “proudy,” outside of GS…from an Indian guy…he was older/an uncle. My guess is that it’s more commonly used in desi countries…I think more so in India…as I haven’t really heard it in Pak. And I also think the term refers more to girls than guys. Kinda like a miss hoity-toity. Basically someone who’s stuck-up. I’m guessing you’re just kidding around with this question cuz it’s only a matter of adding an “ee” sound to a root word. Sorta like Ghostie…and then proudy. OMG, Ghostie’s a proudy. That’s gotta nice ring to it. Okay, I’ll stop.
